Proper butt weld results in failure on the pipe (top image) while poor butt weld results in failure on the joint (bottom image). Failure on the pipe illustrates the fact that proper butt welding results in pipe connections that are stronger than the pipe itself.

INSTALLATION

Butt fusion (equipment and electric generator required)

FITTINGS

Couplers are not needed for pipe to pipe connections.

For elbows, tees, reducers, use NEXOR Spigot Fittings

NOTES

Difficult to install in challenging terrain, poor weather conditions.
